Panoramic Island Tour with beach option
This is our most popular tour for cruise guests. We combine historical Basseterre with incredible scenery.
Stops along the way include Wingfield Estate, Romney Manor and Timothy Hill. Visit to a beach is optional.
Your Tour Route
We meet you at Port Zante, our Cruise Ship terminal, and here you board your air-conditioned transport for your tour.
We drive through the city of Basseterre and see the “Picadilly Circus” clock, Independence Square, the Catholic Cathedral, and St George’s Anglican Church.
As we leave Basseterre, we pass the War Memorial and take the Island’s main road enjoying incredible sea views and passing through local villages.
Passing through the historical site of “Bloody Point”, we reach the edge of the rainforest and make our first stop at Wingfield Estate, the home of the oldest Rum Distillery in the Caribbean.
A short distance away is Romney Manor, the home of Caribelle Batik (entry fee US$3.00) where you may visit the beautiful gardens and the Batik store.
Returning via the coast road, we go onto the South East Peninsula and make a stop at the Timothy Hll scenic lookout where we can enjoy views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.
After Timothy Hill we can end your tour either at one of our beaches, or we return you to the Cruise terminal.
If we drop you at a beach we will return to collect you at an agreed time

Tour Duration is approx 2 hours (+ beach time).

Where to meet your tour guide
- Exit through all security and walk out into the square
- At the rear of the square, you will see a giant #StKitts sign
- To the left of the sign are yellow railings
- Our tour guide will be waiting for you immediately behind the railings. Look for your guide holding a C’s taxis and tours sign.
After your tour, you may choose to be dropped off at one of our beaches at no extra cost. We also include your return journey
Both beach choices are great for sunbathing and snorkeling.
Both beaches offer sunbeds and shade.
Both beaches are only 10 minutes by taxi back to the Port.
Frigate Bay South, the “Strip” is home to many beach bars for food and Refreshments.
South Friars Bay is the home of the famous “Shipwreck Bar”, also Carambola Beach Club.
Beach pickup and return to the cruise terminal are included at no extra cost.
